I'm Bruno Matavelli, a software architect and consultant with over a decade of experience building and scaling software products that real businesses depend on.

Most of my career has been spent doing the work that comes after the prototype: designing systems that have to handle real users, real data, and real consequences when they fail. I led the architecture of a SaaS platform used by thousands of businesses across the U.S., turning a legacy desktop product into a modern cloud-based system over several years of incremental delivery. That experience taught me where production systems actually break, and how to fix them without stopping everything else.

In 2026, the fastest path from idea to working product runs through AI coding tools. That's real, and it's genuinely useful. But "working" and "production-ready" are still very different things. AI tools don't think about what happens when usage grows, when someone tries to break in, when your hosting bill arrives, or when the external service you depend on goes down. That gap is exactly what I help founders close.

I work hands-on. I read the code, review the infrastructure, and implement the fixes. I'm not here to hand you a report and walk away. I work like a senior engineer embedded in your team, without the long-term commitment. When a project needs more hands than I can provide alone, I bring in people from my network. You always work directly with me.

If you want to understand how I think about building software, read the blog. If you want to work together, let's talk.
